As influences on our body Chromatherapy
All we have been in situations where we are inclined more to one color for another, perhaps because it is what our body needs at that time.
Colors have been shown to influence the physical and psychic state, for example, when we receive sunlight we feel more optimistic and this is not the result of chance, the explanation is that light is an essential energy source for living.
Chromatherapy
The colors come from light and because of that can be used to adjust any imbalances, this is the basis for color therapy used in therapy.
According to studies on this subject, when we get sick, the energy centers of our body (known in Eastern medicine as chakras) are unbalanced and can alter the physical and mental harmony.
Chromatherapy has the function to restore balance to these energy centers to stimulate different parts of the nervous system through the colors. Thus we have the red light increases blood pressure while the blue tends to lower it.
Chromotherapy can move to daily life (clothing, decoration, food, etc), know the benefits they produce each color:
- Rosa: promotes relaxation eliminating any sign of nervousness. It is used to combat insomnia and stress.
- Yellow: it increases creativity and mental energy, but it is necessary to dose, otherwise it can overwhelm the mind.
- Green: helps to combat apathy and active curiosity. In our body, regulates the digestive system and kidneys.
- Violet: fosters imagination, courage and determination. Used in excess it can cause a tendency to idealism and aggravate the tension.
- Red : this color is associated with strong emotions such as passion, so it’s used in states of physical weakness. Its excess can cause aggression.
- Turquoise: effectively acts on the immune system and relieve throat infections. Used in excess it can cause stress.
- Blue : provides a sense of calm. However, it must be weighed, because in excess it can become a lack of security.
- Orange: the color of power and self-confidence, which makes it an excellent antidepressant.
- White color par excellence. Provides energy. It contains the same amount of all colors, therefore acts as a tonic for the body.
