About 43 % of the population claims to have somehow changed their hygiene habits in the kitchen with the emergence of influenza A, making a particularly significant at 19.1 per cent of cases, as shown in the study by Silestone Institute, which analyzes how they have been altered hygiene habits in the kitchen of the Spanish.

The survey also shows that the concern caused by influenza A has caused major changes in hygiene habits in the kitchen of the Spanish youths between 25 and 39 years, at 57.9 percent of the cases – still on all island residents (56.6%) and in the southern region (54.6%).

More than half of the population (51%) has changed somehow hygiene habits in general. In particular, a quarter of the respondents (24.1%), has changed dramatically, very or fairly. These people, consciousness with the role of hygiene in preventing infection, relate mainly to the younger segment of the population studied, 25 to 39 years (62.8%).
