Organic Agriculture

Organic agriculture is a system of food production in a sustainable way with the environment, respecting the ecological balance, biodiversity and natural cycles. The product obtained through this system is a natural and healthy food that contains no contaminants. This is very important to the health and welfare of people.
The purpose of this Agriculture for humans is give an alternative choice in food, it may purchase healthy food, without contaminants such as pesticides, insecticides and synthetic fertilizers. Pesticides and insecticides are chemicals that are applied to prevent or minimize the impact of pests and diseases. Synthetic fertilizers are granulated additives that are added to soil to improve fertility characteristics of this and get higher yields in the crop.
These chemicals and synthetic fertilizers were first used to produce more food in the same area. Have served their purpose, but at the expense of product quality. That is, the product has the nutritional characteristics but also includes traces of toxic waste and that is what you are eating. These products are generally not good for health.
The purpose of this Agriculture for our planet, is to minimize the environmental impact, such as the destruction of biodiversity, soil pollution by pesticides and fertilizers, which then enter the ground water to pollute groundwater.
There are products that can be used to control pests and improve soil fertility which are not harmful. These are mainly organic fertilizers and natural products. They are usually not as effective as traditionally used as organic production area is generally lower. This must be compensated with a higher final product price is between 20 and 30% more than usual. Also grown foods are not so perfect. This may occur because natural spots on the skin, which with all applications of chemicals are avoided, or may not be the optimum size, which would be a prerequisite for export in conventional agriculture.
