We know that caffeinated beverages are popular throughout the world. Such is the case of coffee, tea, colas and energy drinks. However, there are some sources of caffeine that will surprise us know.

If you’ve chosen to take a coffee or chocolate ice cream you’re probably consuming caffeine almost without realizing it. Many brands of ice cream with flavors of coffee contain between 30 and 45 milligrams of caffeine per half cup (which is about the same as a can of Coca-Cola). Chocolate ice cream, however, has a smaller amount.

The weight loss pills can also be a source of caffeine. While it reduces the weight many manufacturers have overloaded their pills with this stimulant. For example, take 1223 mg daily dose of Zantrex-3 has the same amount of caffeine … 12 coffee cups!

While a little caffeine can reduce some headaches large quantities can be counterproductive. Many analgesics incorporate caffeine to relieve pain. However, if you consume an amount greater than the label indicates you’re probably taking longer than necessary. There are also some products that in some cases they add caffeine as certain seeds or oatmeal.
