Fractures Types and Treatments

fractures typeAlso fractures can be classified into several types:
* Fissure or incomplete fracture is mild with partial rupture of the bone without completely separating edges
* Completed: occurs throughout the thickness of the bone
* In green branch: occurs in children. Because it is less calcified bone, yields only partially, just breaking the bone cortex
* Multiple: when the bone is broken into various fractions, called shards

Treatment

The handling of such alterations shall be purely medical. As a general emergency measures may take the following actions:
* Reassure the casualty and explain what is going to do
* Avoid as far as possible the mobility
* Hold the nose and mouth clear of any obstacles that may impede the free passage of air
* Remove everything that can compress when ignition occurs (watches, bracelets, rings, necklaces, clothing)
* Immobilize the area where it is considered that the fracture is present. With the above will be achieved; prevent possible injury to muscles, nerves and blood vessels, prevent change from closed to open fracture incomplete or complete, reduce pain, prevent shock (severe decrease in blood pressure) between other benefits
* In an open fracture sterile dressing to the wound, if compressed to avoid bleeding the blood flow
* Cover the casualty to prevent heat loss.
